Fei Fei and BuBu~

I was suppose to do an outfit post but I got super lazy because now I kind of just feel like crawling into bed, watch some series and call it a day |￣ω￣、|

If you've been reading my blog, you probably know that I'm relocating to Malaysia soon! I'm actually leaving in two days! I've been super lazy about packing though (haven't even started) and I think it's going to be a really stressful process because I only have 30kg of baggage allowance! (ﾉ_-｡)

Lucky I don't have to pack any Winter clothes and all my Summer clothes should be quite light!

So my best friend is looking after my dog for me while I'm away indefinitely. I'm so lucky!! We bought our dogs together so they are real sisters and brothers which is sooo cute! The dad is brown and mum is cream and that's why they have different coloured fur but look the same! They also have totally different personalities!

My bestie's been looking after Fei Fei for 2 months now because I want to make sure he settles in before I leave so lately I've been spending a lot of time at her house with my dog before I leave. I'm going to miss him so much ･ﾟ･(ﾉД`;)･ﾟ･

Pomeranians are really adorable but here's a warning to anyone that is considering buying a pom

Their fur is super hard to manage! You have to spend a lot of time brushing their fur because it gets knotted really easily in the following places - Behind the ears, in the armpits area and around the bum! Also if you are slightly allergic or sensitive to fur I don't really recommend poms for you cos their hair is quite fine

Quick facts!

BuBu

• Even though she is smaller than Fei Fei she is actually the older sister! Fei Fei was the second baby of the litter and they have a younger sister which is a darker cream colour


• Their birthday is on 10th April 2009 which was Good Friday!


• BuBu is really hyper active! She loves to run after birds (My Bestie always like to say to her: They will come for revenge in Spring!! lol) and gum nuts!


• She was really ditzy as a baby and would run into doors etc but seems to not feel any pain! lol!


• Even though she's the smaller dog she likes to act like the Alpha dog so she have to eat first before letting Fei Fei eat haha!


• She gets jealous of Fei Fei easily and growls at him and then get scolded by her mummy!


• She more photogenic than Fei Fei ゜・(>_<)・゜

Fei Fei (fat fat)

• LOVES food! His eyes goes super shiny and sparkly when there are food around


• Snores really loud like a fat person haha


• Very obedient and submissive


• Randomly farts and burps and makes everyone run out of the room loool!


• Very loving and don't hold grudges! My favourite trait about him ~(＾◇^)/


• Scared-y cat! He's a bit of a sissy haha Oh well he will always be my little boy (＾▽＾)/

Goodbye old hair, hello new hair!

I've been getting emails from readers asking me about the closing date of the giveaway so I was like omgg I should announce it soon before everyone get pissed off @__@ So sorry it took me this long to finalise the closing date! Ok onto my post! So I did my hair (probably for the last time) at Studio 199 today so I was kind of emo and sad about it! Who am I going to find to do my hair in Malaysia?! >__<

Before I show you my new hair, here's some camwhore shots from the past week of me with my old hair which I'm going to miss heaps!!! It's one of my favourite hair colours I've had so far and I'm so sad to part with it but because I have to start my new job in a corporate environment that hair colour is not very appropriate =__=

Contoured my nose with my new MAC 224 tapered brush in the following photos. The contouring turned out really well and I think it's because of the brush ^__^ Will talk about it in more detail when I properly review the 224 brush =)

I find that I look more mature when I take photos with my hair swept to one side

Is anyone interested in a makeup tutorial for this look? I took the photos of the makeup process but I don't think they are that good quality because the lighting under incandescent light is not that great. There are a lot of requests for makeup tutorials so I want to post one soon but just worried it's going to turn out crap >__<

Had similar makeup for the look below, same lashes, contact lenses and lipstick, I just used different eyeshadow colours and technique and the curls in my hair are tighter

[Review] Cosmagic Deco Cheek in Peach Pink

 I finally got my hands on the Cosmagic Deco Cheek blush in my Bonjour Haul back in June and here is the review!

The Cosmagic blush is/was? the hottest new must have item in the Gyaru world and I felt like I must get my hands on one! The cosmagic line is produced by Kumiko Funayama (One of my fav Popteen models) in collaboration with Kose.

It has one cream blush (heart shape) and a powdery blush + highlighter. I bought the Peach Pink one because the Strawberry Pink is too similar to my Candy Doll blushes.

The good:

• Love the colour! It's a very pretty coral/peachy colour, a different look from the usual strawberry cute lollypop pink blushes gyarus love to use
• The Powdery blush and highlighter are quite pigmented
• Adorable packaging

The bad:

• The pom pom stick and blush brush is quite useless since you can't put it inside the blush and have to carry them separately which is such a pain and it's so easy to lose them
• Even though the design is cute it's really not very practical - it's almost impossible to try to grab any of the cream blush with a blush brush because it's in an awkward heart shape, so basically you have to use your finger to get the cream blush and dab it on your cheeks. Also the cream blush is not very pigmented, you have to rub at it really hard and most of the product stains your fingers and when you try to dab your cheeks not much product transfers over to the cheeks then you have to repeat the dabbing process... it's really quite frustrating to use the cream blush to be honest =___=

Conclusion: 

I give this product 3/5

The reason is because the design of this product is really not very practical. The heart shaped cream blush really frustrates me and also it sucks that the pom pom stick and blush brush is useless and you can't carry it together with the blush. What I like about this blush is the colour and the highlighter is really nice! Also I like the fact that you get three in one - cream blush, blush and highlighter.

Here are some photos of me wearing the blush. It's so hard for the blush colour to show up in photos unless you pile it on and I find it really hard to pile this blush on so what I did in the below photo is that I photoshopped the colour onto my cheek so it's kind of cheating haha. But the colour is exactly what the blush look like on the cheeks! If you look back on the swatch, that's basically what the colour of the blush look like on the cheeks.

Can you see the blush in this photo? It's really hard to review blushes because you have to wear 3 times as much blush as what you would normally wear for it show up on camera =__=

M.A.C. Haul ^__^ 5 brushes + Studio Fix foundation powder

I decided to get some more MAC Brushes because I absolutely loved the first two I bought - 130 and 217.

This time I bought 5 MAC brushes and the Studio Fix foundation powder in NC25

I was originally planning to buy the Studio fix foundation and the mineralise skin finish in soft and gentle and after I got kinda of "cheated" into buying the Laura Mercier products I felt the silk foundation creme gave me the same "heavy coverage" I wanted to achieve with the Studio fix foundation and the highlighter in the LM palette gave me similar results as the mineralise skin finish so I decided to just get some more brushes instead ^__^

I've only used the brushes once to do my makeup so I don't have any detailed review on it yet but once I have used all my MAC brushes for a while I will do a more thorough review on them all

168 Large Angled Contour brush

I haven't used this brush yet for contouring but I have used it for highlighting and I think it works great. The angled brush makes it easy to do highlighting on the nose and under the eyes. I bought this brush because I don't have any angled brush like this and I think this brush would be great to do contour on the cheeks.

 239 Eyeshadow brush

One of the most popular eyeshadow brush in MAC along with the 217

I think this brush is good for putting eyeshadow on the lids

Picks up colour really well just like the 217

224 Tapered blending brush

I bought this brush to blend eyeshadow but it didn't impress me that much from the first use because I didn't think it blended my eyeshadow very well but I will have a proper verdict later when I've used this brush a bit more

However I used this brush to contour my nose and omg I was sooo pleased!!! This is officially going to be my nose contouring brush! So even if this brush does not blend eyeshadow properly I definitely do not regret getting this because it's such a good brush for nose contouring!!

219 Pencil brush

I already have a pencil brush in my brush roll but I thought I will get a MAC one since I think the pencil brush is really useful! It's great to place eyeshadow on the tear duct or below the eyes. 

212 Flat definer brush

This brush was recommended to me by my friend

It's a very interesting brush because it's like a the bigger, fatter version of an eyeliner brush

You can't really see from the picture unless I do a comparison photo with a normal eyeliner brush

It's great for smudging eyeliner or for placing thin line of eyeshadow as the eyeliner along the eye

It's also good for pushing gel eyeliner into the lash line where the "white gap" is

This is a great multipurpose brush and I think I will really like this brush too!

My mini MAC Brush collection

I don't think I'll be be adding anymore brushes to this any time soon until I visit the US, then I will be buying a lot of makeup and makeup tools because everything in this US is sooo much cheaper than Aus!

I will definitely do a thorough review on these brushes once I've used them a bit more =)
